Happy Oktoberfest to all my Miamians!
A little late on my part, but I finally got to check out The Butcher Shop Beer Garden and Grill in Wynwood for a few pumpkin beers during their Pumpkin Tap Takeover! Couldn’t help but to be festive in a city where our festivity has to come from within with such lacking weather. Whether just going out for a few drinks or finding somewhere new to eat, the area’s first beer garden has created the perfect old-fashioned outdoor ambiance with it’s long wooden tables nestled under their umbrellas and lightly illuminated greenery. The Butcher Shop welcomes all ages, not as only a bar but as a restaurant where trending music plays throughout, has a centered wooden bar, large TVs streaming the game, tables centered with huge beer Towers and far in the where back you can find indoor dining lies the appropriate deli counter- or should I say Butcher Shop. Their menu has a perfect mix of not only beer but butchery choices with a trendy German twist. Don’t know how you feel? Let me help you. To accompany your choice of beverage whether its a pint, pitcher or tower of craft or Braviarian brew, you can start with a possible sausage platter or german pretzel with Cheddar béchamel sauce. If you’re not feeling Oktoberfest start, with some Lobster Mac and Cheese and Short Rib Tacos. Then get ready to hit the meats with anything from a Flank Steak, Sweet Chili Rotisserie Chicken or Colorado Lamb Burger. But what’s a butcher shop without great quality sausages? Salivate on fresh Bratwurst, Blue Cheese & Fig Sausage, a Spanish Chorizo or an authentic Currywurst, just make sure to wash it down with some more bier! (and maybe an Apple Strudel) .
