Meat Market- Miami

There are a few spots in the city that still clearly define Miami’s unique sexy vibes while bypassing tourist tackiness and overrated publicity. One of those places is a goldmine in the heart of Lincoln Road, and that is no other than Meat Market Miami. From its elegant décor to their dim, sensual lighting, its perfect for a decadent dinner or late night cocktails. Spoil yourself from beginning to end with fresh crudos to start like their killer Tuna Tartare with ginger, soy, avocado smash, mango mole and citrus foam or their cool Cedar- Scented Hamachi with Yuzu, White Truffle, Lime and Jalapeno. Don’t miss out on their warm appetizers like Asian BBQ Lamb Ribs, Wood Grilled Artichokes or my absolute favorite: their mouth-watering Roasted Cauliflower- a full roasted cauliflower head with lemon, parsley, capers, parmesan and Evoo, sitting atop Cauliflower Puree.

As you take in the relaxing and appealing atmosphere, sip on their classic Meat Market Mai Tai or their seasonal Lavender Bees knees with Beefeater 24 gin, citrus, lavender and egg white. Have you decided what you want for your entrée yet? Meat I suppose? Their signature steaks include Prime New York, Filet Mignon, Prime Ribeye, and Bone- In Ribeye to name a few. Their mouth-watering house creations include options like Prime Short Rib & Lobster Risotto, Umami Duck Half, “American Style Kobe” Meatloaf and my personal favorite: The MM Gourmet Meat Sampler that welcomes a little bit of it all if you can’t decide. The platter includes AA 5 Wagyu Filet, Filet Marrow Butter and Blackened Certified Angus Beef New York Steak.

Don’t let their name fool you, an amazing selection of fine meats are not the only thing that they have to offer. Take a taste at their Cedar Paper Scottish Salmon in a candied Jalapeno glaze or their Twin Butter-Roasted Tristan Lobster Tail. My choice you wonder? Their heavenly Seabass with truffle mash, wild mushrooms, sweet corn, tomato concasse, truffle nage and soy beans.

Now I’m sure that your stomach at this point has had a ball, but whether or not your sweet tooth is calling, I highly suggest you satisfy it because their desserts are just decadebt. What are you in the mood for exactly? Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee? Textures Of Chocolate? Banana Bread Pudding? Or how about Spiked Milk and Cookies with a warm assortment of cookies with Crème de Cacoa and Almond Milk Whip served with an aged rum (my absolute favorite).

As you can see, I have tons of suggestions and favorites throughout their entire menu and with that being said, Meat Market is simply a great place, for a nice evening no matter the occasion (even for just homemade milk & cookies).
